Digital Guide to Perth Museum

Culture Perth and Kinross is delighted to announce that it has launched a digital guide for Perth Museum on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and culture app.

Bloomberg Connects is a free digital guide to hundreds of cultural organisations around the world that makes it easy to access and engage with arts and culture from mobile devices, anytime, anywhere. Visitors can use the digital guide to discover more about the collection, including the Stone of Destiny and the history of Perth City Hall. Bloomberg Connects also features free digital guides to over 60 museums from around the world, including others in Scotland.

To download the free app, scan the QR code below or click this link. Once downloaded, open the app, scroll to “Perth Museum” in the list of participating museums, and click our logo to start exploring our guide. Use the map to navigate the museum and to find key objects and displays included in our guide. And when you see a number and icon next to the artwork, enter it into the lookup tab to learn more.

Accessing the guide at Perth Museum

Connect to our free Wi-Fi and scan one of the QR codes using your device’s camera app. You’ll be taken straight to our guide in your web browser.

If you’re using the Bloomberg Connect app, browse the list or use the ‘Explore’ search bar to find Perth Museum, and choose from over 30 languages to customise your tour. Simply tap ‘Start Guide’ to begin your journey through the collection.

For easy access, look for Bloomberg Connects ‘Look-Up’ numbers next to the objects in the museum.
