The sessions are designed to welcome prospective suppliers for the Perth Museum Café
Following the publication of their Prior Information Notice on Public Contracts Scotland, Culture Perth & Kinross today issued an invitation to interested parties for an upcoming Meet the Buyer event as it looks to seek a new operator for the café at Perth Museum.
Ahead of the full opportunity going live on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) in the summer, the charitable trust is running two Meet the Buyer events for prospective suppliers at Perth Museum on Thursday 18 June and Monday 22 June. Attendees who have registered their interest in the concession contract at the Museum via PCS will be able to hear about this exciting opportunity, tour the existing café facilities and learn more about the public procurement process.
Perth Museum has established itself as a major cultural asset for the City of Perth, welcoming more than 463,000 visits since opening two years ago and being shortlisted for Art Fund Museum of the Year 2025.
The Meet the Buyer sessions will begin with tea and coffee on arrival followed by presentations, an opportunity to view the premises and time to ask questions to support suppliers develop their response to the tender opportunity once it goes live.
Details of the tender opportunity will be published on Public Contracts Scotland in July, and Culture Perth & Kinross would particularly welcome interest from local and regional hospitality businesses who wish to be part of the Museum’s continued success and the wider development of Perth’s city centre offer.
Bookings can be made via Eventbrite.
