Visitor Experience Assistant – Perth Museum & Perth Art Gallery

Culture Perth and Kinross are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to join our Front of House team. Two posts are based at Perth Art Gallery and one post at the new Perth Museum, which opened in 2024. You will play an integral part in the operation of these exciting venues, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional visitor experience with consistently high standards of service.

You will play an essential part, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional visitor experience with consistently high standards of service. The main duties of the post include actively welcoming visitors and providing information about Culture Perth and Kinross museums and galleries; current exhibitions; providing security vigilance and patrolling the display areas whilst engaging with visitors; and actively selling museum and gallery merchandise, and operating the cash till. The post will include evening and weekend work.

• Perth Museum (16 hours/week)
• Perth Art Gallery (12 & 20 hours/week)
• Permanent
• £26,090 – £27,498 per annum pro rata
