Star Objects
A creative workshop delivered in partnership with Coffin Club Caledonia as part of The Last Letter of Mary, Queen of Scots programme at Perth Museum.
Inspired by Mary’s final letter, the session explores themes of legacy, personal choice and how we wish to be remembered. Through guided conversation and a hands-on creative activity, participants are invited to reflect in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful for them.
As part of the workshop, participants will have the option to decorate a small cardboard coffin as a symbolic object. This can be approached creatively, playfully or thoughtfully, and may include hidden or private messages if participants wish.
There is no expectation to share personal reflections, and everyone is free to engage at their own pace.
